DIY CT Scanner from Dental X-Ray
This conceptual CT scanner repurposes a dental X-ray emitter and high-resolution dental sensor to capture multi-angle projections of small objects. A custom-built multi-axis rig positions the object for precision scanning, while a tailored photogrammetry algorithm reconstructs volumetric models. The goal is to create a compact, affordable alternative to industrial CT scanners for research and hobbyist use.
